Ain’t the Las Vegas Beauty Bar beautiful? We just added it to our lineup of venues for the festival. You could feast your eyes on more images here. The bar is located at 517 Fremont St. in downtown Las Vegas near the Neonopolis. Festival performances will take place there from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 22-26.
We actually are still in the process of securing more venues. If you are the owner/manager of an establishment and are interested in having it be a performance spot for the festival, send an e-mail to lvgirlfestival2009 at yahoo dot com, or give us a buzz at 702-648-8051.

It’s times like this that I wish the guitar was my main instrument instead of the drums. Well, maybe I love the drums too much to say that. But if you’re a guitarist, this should induce somewhat of a drool:
We will be raffling off an acoustic from Daisy Rock Girl Guitars during this year’s Las Vegas GirlFestival. It’s the Pixie Acoustic in silver sparkle. Neat, yes? I think so, especially since I’m a sucker for the sparkle finish. Too bad Daisy Rock doesn’t make drums.
